"Who then is the faithful and wise servant, whom his master has set over his household, to give them their food at the proper time? Blessed is that servant whom his master will find so doing when he comes."
Matthew 24:45-51
We, as followers of Christ, are like servants in His household. Each of us is given gifts which are like food for those around us. Ask God today to open your eyes to recognize what gifts God has given you to complete the task you've personally been assigned. As you spend time listening to God, discern how you can eliminate distractions and keep focused on your service to Him. As you go out to make disciples, ask God to give you supernatural grace to use well what you have for the benefit of those you meet.
Disciple's Prayer for Today:
"Father I ask You today to reveal all the wonderful gifts You've given to me to use for Your glory among the nations. Father send me out into my family, among my friends, and to the nations to share the good news of the gospel of Jesus Christ. Break off the fear of man on my life and let me speak to others with a boldness and passion that surprises me. Help me eliminate the good things that hinder the best things. Keep me undistracted in my assignment from You. Fill me with all I need to please You today.”
Prayer for the Unreached of the Day:
"Father I lift up the Rakhine in Myanmar. Send out Your angels among these people and bring the light of Your gospel among them. Fill them with Your Hope, Your Faith, and most of all Your Father's love. Send messengers among them to carry the flames of Your gospel so followers of Jesus multiply. Do signs and wonders in their midst. Keep laborers focused and undistracted for a fruitful harvest. Father save these beautiful people! In Jesus' name, Amen."
