“May the God who gives endurance and encouragement give you the same attitude of mind toward each other that Christ Jesus had, so that with one mind and one voice you may glorify the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.”
Romans 15:5-6
This week’s church planting movement principle is: Unity Among Believers. In Romans 15:5-6 we read: “May the God who gives endurance and encouragement give you the same attitude of mind toward each other that Christ Jesus had, so that with one mind and one voice you may glorify the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.” In John 17, Jesus’ prayer was that we would be one even as He and the Father are one--that would be a sign that our gospel is true when unbelievers see our love for one another. Unity among believers is an important sign of the truth of our message. Also, Jesus is asking for this--and He will get the answer to His prayer. Pray that disciples, movement leaders and the global body of Christ will walk in love and unity as we seek to fulfill Matthew 24:14.

PRAYER FOR JEWS, ISRAEL, & ONE NEW MAN:
Warning Dreams to Turn from Evil: Father God, restrain evil through warning dreams to those plotting against Israel and the Jews.
Job 33:15-18 In a dram, in a vision of the night, when deep sleep falls on people as they slumber in their beds, he may speak in their ears, and terrify them with warnings, to turn them from wrongdoing, and keep them from pride, to preserve them from the pit, their lives from perishing by the sword.”
PRAYER FOR WORLD IN CRISIS:
For the Joy Set Before Us: Jesus, Pioneer and Perfecter of our faith, help me look to You as I endure through challenges. Fix my eyes on You who are the prize, the pearl of great price. Help me not grow weary and lose heart.
Hebrews 12:1-3 “Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles. And let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us, fixing our eyes on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of faith. For the joy set before Him, he endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. Consider him who endured such opposition from sinners, so that you will not grow weary and lose heart.”
