"In everything set them an example by doing what is good. In your teaching show integrity, seriousness and soundness of speech that cannot be condemned, so that those who oppose you may be ashamed because they have nothing bad to say about us."
Titus 2:7-8
You may say, "I'm not a teacher." But the truth is, you are. You are a teacher to everyone you meet. You teach with your smile, your words, and the way you live your life. Think about how you teach others in your life. How do you teach your friends? How do you teach your family? How do you live your life and how does that instruct others in how to live theirs? Do you show integrity? Is your life consistent with your faith? Is your speech serious and sound? Does the way you live your life encourage others to follow Jesus?
Take a few moments to consider how you teach. Lift up your eyes to realize how many people are influenced by your life and behavior. Ask God to show you where you need growth. Every day you are sowing seeds; make certain you are sowing into the Kingdom of Heaven.
"Father, I want to be the same person in front of people that I am alone. Build my character today and the rest of my life. Build Christ-like character into my heart."
"Father, bring good disciples of You to the Tai Kao in Laos today. Their character and traditions are found in Buddhism but we ask that in Jesus' name, You would show them that it's impossible to do or be good without a relationship with Jesus. Break down the barriers to the gospel and help Jesus Disciples to love and share the good news with the Tai Kao in Laos today. In Jesus name, Amen."
