For what I received I passed on to you as of first importance: that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, that he was buried, that he was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures.
1 Corinthians 15:3-4
As a follower of Jesus Christ our life is hidden away with Jesus and our whole life is transformed. No longer are we to be people stumbling about in the darkness of self, but to be people focused on Jesus and shining that light to those around us. We are also called to pass on what has been given to us by God. Has God healed you? Pray for others for healing.
Has God set you free from an addiction? Pray for someone else to be set free. Have you been saved and transformed by the gospel? Share the gospel with anyone who comes your way. Today make it your goal to be the hands and feet of Jesus on this earth.
"Father, I want to be more and more and more like Jesus everyday. I want to grow in my favor with you and with those around me. I want to shine brighter and brighter as I grow older. I want those around me to see you. Fill me to overflowing with your love!"
"Father, open the eyes of the Khoton people today. Shine brightly in their midst. Send your messengers out to them. Let them see dreams and visions of you and of the truth of Jesus. Let them be Your inheritance today. Let followers of Jesus pass on to others what they are learning so they become effective disciple makers. In the powerful name of Jesus, Amen."
