"Live in harmony with one another. Do not be proud, but be willing to associate with people of low position. Do not be conceited."
Romans 12:16
Unity requires complete humility. Pride brings strife and dissention. Pride puffs up, but humility lifts up others. Love covers a multitude of sins. Go make disciples for Jesus by teaching them to obey all that Jesus commanded and then send them out to multiply. Ask the Holy Spirit to make you a fruit bearing tree for Him. Ask God to open your eyes to see all the fruit He wants you to bear as you live out your days on this earth. As His family grows and multiplies, walk together as one in Him. Quickly resolve disputes and serve one another in love.
Disciple's Prayer:
"Father, I want to live a simple life before You. I want to learn to be content. I want to feel Your presence around me and I want to feel Your love filling me up. I want to know You and know Jesus crucified. I want to share in His sufferings so that I can taste His glory as well. As You humbled Yourself, Jesus, help me walk in humility. Father, make me more and more like Jesus and then teach others to be like Jesus as well. In Jesus’ name I pray, Amen!"
Unreached of the Day's Prayer:
"Father, thank You that You always hear my prayers. The Somali in the UK have yet to know Jesus and experience the unity of Your family among them. God, You are the only thing worth living for and the Somali in the UK need You. Shine the brilliant light of Your love among these people. Raise up local believers to be lights in the darkness. May every crisis be used as an opportunity to witness about Jesus with words and deeds of love. Let extraordinary fellowships multiply that exhibit Your true spiritual unity and glorify Jesus." May Your Kingdom come and Your will be done among these Somali in the UK for Your glory.
