“When he arrived at the house of Jairus, he did not let anyone go in with him except Peter, John and James, and the child’s father and mother.”
LUKE 8:51
This week’s church planting movement principle is: Move with the Movers. Luke 8:51 “When he arrived at the house of Jairus, he did not let anyone go in with him except Peter, John and James, and the child’s father and mother.” Luke 12:1 says, “Meanwhile, when a crowd of many thousands had gathered, so that they were trampling on one another, Jesus began to speak first to his disciples, saying, “Be on your guard against the yeast of the Pharisees, which is hypocrisy.’” Church planting movement catalysts recognize in these verses a key principle. Abundant gospel sowing results in many responding at some level to the gospel. Certain people evidence interest but do not pursue God. The good can be the enemy of the best. Jesus focused His efforts on the few, though He preached and ministered to multitudes. God will guide us to focus eighty percent of our efforts on the twenty percent most fruitful disciples. God will guide us to release believers into the care of the Holy Spirit in order for us to move on to regions beyond where the gospel has gone. Pray that leaders will invest the majority of their time with those who are obeying God’s word (“move with the movers; don’t linger with the lingerers.”)

Jews and the the peoples of Israel to know their Messiah, Yeshua Everlasting Father, thrust forth more than enough laborers to proclaim good news of the Gospel throughout Israel, among every Jewish people group, throughout every place; open their hearts to hear and receive. Isaiah 40:9 “You who bring good news to Zion, go up on a high mountain. You who bring good news to Jerusalem, lift up your voice with a shout, lift it up, do not be afraid; say to the towns of Judah, “Here is your God!” |
PRAYER FOR WORLD IN CRISIS:
Opportunities to Testify
God Almighty, as we endure great suffering, may it be an opportunity for the testimony of Your sufficiency and trustworthiness to be transmitted, so that Your grace reaches more and more people.
2 Corinthians 4:12-15 “So then, death is at work in us, but life is at work in you. It is written: ‘I believed; therefore I have spoken.’ Since we have that same spirit of faith, we also believe and therefore speak, because we know that the one who raised the Lord Jesus from the dead will also raise us with Jesus and present us with you to himself. All this is for your benefit, so that the grace that is reaching more and more people may cause thanksgiving to overflow ot the glory of God.”
