IRON SHARPENS IRON

"When a Samaritan woman came to draw water, Jesus said to her, "Will you give me a drink?"

John 4:7

Rather than reacting with prejudice or disdain, Jesus created a bridge of relationship with the Samaritan woman. Through their simple dialogue, she became the ambassador which opened the door to the gospel for the entire village. Consider how everyone God brings into your life has a unique purpose in your walk with Jesus. Everyone you meet represents an opportunity for His Kingdom’s sake. Ask God for the ability to seize these opportunities and to fill you with His love. Ask the Holy Spirit to give you the grace to humble yourself and see others the way God sees them today. How can you join hands with God and others for the sake of His Kingdom coming in regions beyond?

Disciple's Prayer for Today:

"Father, thank You for saving me. Thank You for choosing me to serve You on the earth in this time. Thank You for knowing me so very well. Give me a heart of wisdom when it comes to my interactions with others. Help me show Your love and grace to those around me as You pour Your love and grace into me. Purify my heart today and let me see others as You see them. Connect me with others strategically for Your Kingdom’s sake. Create outsider-insider connections which serve and strengthen movements to Jesus. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.”

Prayer for the Unreached of the Day:

"Father, I stand in the gap for the Lezgin peoples in Azerbaijan today. Look at these people with love and fill them with hope in and through Your Son, Jesus. Send men and women, young and old, to share the gospel among them. Create many outsider-insider partnerships which enrich and support the growing movements that You will ignite here and beyond. Thank You for all You are about to do among these people, by faith I pray, Amen!"
