Growing in our relationship with God is like growing in any other relationship we have: it takes time. We cannot expect to grow deep in our relationship with God without spending a good bit of daily time with Him. We have to learn to make our time with Him more important than anything else in our lives. This is hard work, but it is the only work that is worth doing. He is the reason we exist. He is the reason we have breath. And there is so much joy in getting to know Him and who He is. The more we know Him, the greater our delight in Him. Out of our relationship with Him everything else in our life flows. Begin in His presence and let the life that pours out on you from Him flow into the rest of your day. Enter His courts with thanksgiving and praise... discover Him.

"Father, you set a standard of Love for me to live by, to love you and love those around me. Help me grow in my understanding of what true love is and how to show it to others."

"Father, I am so grateful for Your salvation and so I lift up the Luobohe Miao peoples of China and ask simply as a child that You would save these people as well. God, have mercy on them today! Show them Your great favor and lift them up out of the pit. Shine your bright light in their hearts today. Open their eyes and ears to the calling of Your Holy Spirit! As believers around the world come to listen at Your feet, impress upon them the needs of unreached groups like the Luobohe Miao of China. May the compelling of Your love drive them to prayer and action. As they listen to Your voice, give specific instructions and impart obedient hearts to will and do Your good pleasure. In Jesus name! Amen."
