"Live in harmony with one another. Do not be proud, but be willing to associate with people of low position. Do not be conceited."
Romans 12:16
Our tendency to want to be independent and self-sufficient often works against being effective multipliers of the Gospel.Today's verse instructs us to be humble, and this is very un-like the world we live in today that teaches everyone to stand alone, to be filled with pride in what we do, and to seek our own way. Ask God today to help you understand humility before Him. Ask God to help you bow before Him and to seek His will on earth. Ask God to help you find the people of peace and to approach them in humility and love. Depend upon God to work through people of peace who welcome you into their homes. Ask God to open the eyes of their hearts to see Him clearly so that you can clearly represent Him well to those He sends into your life.
Disciple's Prayer for Today:
"Father, I long to know You more and to know the power of the resurrection of Christ in my life. Show me how to love more deeply the people You put into my life. Show me the way to walk and the path I should take. Direct me to the people of peace who will open their households as Cornelius did to Peter in the book of Acts. Help me in humility be willing to be dependent. Show me Your love for me so that I can see Your love for others and walk in that to them. May many new households open for the Gospel of Jesus today.”
Prayer for the Unreached of the Day:
"Father, I lift up the Arab, Yemeni to you. God you know each one of them because you created them unique and for your good pleasure. God I ask that you would ignite such a revival among these people that it would spread from there to all over the whole wide world Lord. Would you go and open the eyes of these people so that they can know you? Can you send out men and woman to take your word to them today? Amen."
