Colossians 3:23
This week’s church planting movement principle is: Anticipate Rapid Reproduction. In Ephesians 3:20-21 we read: “Now to Him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to His power that is at work within us, to Him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, for ever and ever! Amen.” This week’s principle is the foundation of our hope in Jesus Christ both in our own lives and in the lives of those we reach with the good news of salvation founded on God’s promises to us as His children. So, as you go, be filled with faith to see rapid replication of God’s kingdom in both the disciples and the fellowships you plant. Do not be bogged down when multiplication begins, because we are so delighted to see reproduction happening at last. The sudden flurry of activity can feel overwhelming. But, we need to keep pressing forward to multiply and grow into the regions beyond where the Gospel has yet gone, into the new frontiers deep in the heart of the kingdom of darkness. Pray for joyful, expectant faith within movements, to see rapid reproduction of disciples, churches, and leaders.
Ask God this week to give everyone involved in church planting movements a sense of their connectedness to the family of Christ as children of God. Practice listening to Holy Spirit daily for where He is sending you to prepare His way.
