ALL THINGS WORK TOGETHER

"And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose."

Romans 8:28

To love God means to obey Him. In today's verse, we see how all things, even our mistakes, God uses for good in our lives. He is a good, good Father who disciplines those He loves. If only we fully understood what discipleship means is the daily walk with Him! If we make a mistake, if we sin, then He helps us up and sets us back on the path, learning to love Him and love others in the process. The path of the righteous man is like the sun rising ever brighter until the perfect day when we will see Him and become like Him. Ask God to help you learn from difficulties, trials and even mistakes.

Disciple's Prayer for Today:

"Father, thank You for everything you do! Today I choose to praise you! I choose as an act of my will to worship You for who You are. I lay down today my life, my problems, and all the things that weigh so heavy on me. Deliver me from the things that are not what You had planned for me and help me to grow more in the things for which You have created me. Help me learn from my mistakes and trust You to bring good even from those things. In Jesus’ name I ask, Amen.”

Prayer for the Unreached of the Day:

"Father, I come today before your Throne of grace and stand in the gap for the Songhai-Koyraboro. Fill me with Your eternal love and allow me to pour that love out in prayer for these people that need You. Strengthen every single disciple maker among them to continue to do the work of sharing the gospel with these people and seeing their work multiplied. Thank You that You will help each one learn from their mistakes. Thank You that You cause all things to work together for good and for Your glory. In Jesus Name I Pray, Amen."
