"And the things you have heard me say in the presence of many witnesses entrust to reliable people who will also be qualified to teach others."
2 Timothy 2:2
God disciples us through Jesus and the Holy Spirit to be more like Him and then, in turn, we disciple others by the life we live. You will replicate what you are. This is the most basic principle of church planting movements. You are an influence to everyone you know whether you want to be or not. Others will imitate what you are and pass that on to others. Look for faithful, available, teachable folks who respond to God’s call. Spend eighty percent of your time with the twenty percent who are the most fruitful. Encourage them to teach others to go and do likewise. Like ripples in a pond, your influence will reach all the way to the edge through their lives.
Disciple's Prayer for Today:
"Father, I recognize that Jesus is the only way, the only truth, and the only life. Jesus, you alone are the model for how I should live my life. Teach me. Help me. Be to me all that I need and all that I want. Empower me to recognize and equip those who will faithfully follow and obey Jesus. Reproduce disciple makers through me. May Your Kingdom expand exponentially for Your glory!”
Prayer for the Unreached of the Day:
"Father, thank You for the Karan Kayastha peoples of India. You see each one and hold all their days in Your hands. Bless them with the gift of salvation today! Let each follower of Jesus walk like Jesus and multiply other fruitful disciple makers that do so as well. May gatherings of committed Jesus followers fill every community so that Your light shines brightly in every place among these peoples. May Karan Kayastha Jesus followers carry the good news to other neighboring people and places so that no place is left without witness of Your love. Amen."
