"And do not forget to do good and to share with others, for with such sacrifices God is pleased."
Hebrews 13:16
This week’s movement principle is: Sacrificially Help Those in Need. Our Father in heaven is our great example of this movement principle; He is always extravagantly generous with everyone. In Romans 12:13 we are commanded to: “Share with the Lord’s people who are in need. Practice hospitality.” In Matthew 7:2 and in Mark 4:24 we are told that in the measure we use, so it will be measured back to us. In 2 Corinthians 8:2-4 we read: “In the midst of a very severe trial, their overflowing joy and their extreme poverty welled up into rich generosity." This week as we explore sacrificial generosity, ask your Heavenly Father to give you new eyes to recognize and appreciate His many gifts to you and a new heart full of gratitude. Ask how you can generously give to others because He gave His one and only Son to die for you. Pray for lavish generosity and ample provision as disciples reach out to meet the needs of those around them. Consider all God has given you and find new ways to pass it on to others.
Ask God this week to give everyone involved in church planting movements a sense of their connectedness to the family of Christ as children of God. Practice listening to Holy Spirit daily for where He is sending you to prepare His way.

PRAYER FOR WORLD IN CRISIS:
God’s Perspective
Father, help us keep Your perspective that whatever crises we walk through, they are momentary and light in comparison with the absolutely incomparable eternal weight of glory being revealed in and through us.
2 Corinthians 4:17-18 “For our momentary light affliction is producing for us an absolutely incomparable eternal weight of glory. So we do not focus on what is seen, but on what is unseen. For what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal.”
