"for a wide door for effective service has opened to me, and there are many adversaries."
1 Corinthians 16:9
How often do we see wide doors of service open to us and along with that wide door of service comes many adversaries? In today's verse, consider that adversaries could be many things: demons, finances, family, friends, coworkers, fellow Christians, etc. Anything that comes between the call of God on your life and you is considered adverse to your journey. Ask God today to give you a greater understanding of how to pray into and against those things that stand in the threshold of your wide open door.
Disciple's Prayer for Today:
"Father, today remove every obstacle from my path that You have not placed there. Rebuke any adversary that stands in the path You've called me to walk. Clothe me in Your armor and let me be a person mighty in prayer. Help me boldly walk through the open doors.”
Prayer for the Unreached of the Day:
"Father, the Afro-Iraqi need You as much as I need You. Thank You for giving me salvation; give these beautiful people salvation as well. Let Your grace be poured out to bring about such a great revival that these people would be known by Your name, God. Break the back of the enemy and shine Your marvelous light among these people. Open many doors and birth flourishing fellowships of followers of Jesus for Your glory. Amen."
