"Therefore, my dear brothers and sisters, stand firm. Let nothing move you. Always give yourselves fully to the work of the Lord, because you know that your labor in the Lord is not in vain."
1 Corinthians 15:58
Today, ask God to shine His light into your heart and fill you with His love. In today's busy world, we are surrounded by many voices and much noise attempting to distract us from His voice. Learn to stand firm, grounded and rooted in God’s love, focusing on what God says is true. Ask God to help you stand firm in who He is and what He says is truth. Your call is to live out the message of the gospel twenty-four hours a day seven days a week in all you do. As you work alongside God, He promises your labor is not in vain. Obey His nudges and focus on the tasks He assigns to you, trusting that He sees the end from the beginning. As we abide in Him, fruitful harvest will result.
Disciple's Prayer for Today:
"Father, help me stand firm today in faith in the power of Your Name. Jesus, fill my life with more and more and more of You. Let nothing move me from Your assignments; help me to withhold nothing from You. Show me the way I should walk and then lead me in that path. Thank you for Your provision and empowerment to accomplish the work You call me to! May all I do lead others to be fully devoted followers of Jesus as well.”
Prayer for the Unreached of the Day:
"Father, I come before you now asking that you would send forth laborers among the Meskhetian Turk. Shine Your bright light amongst them today and show Yourself merciful to them. Send out a call right now to awaken men and women from around the globe to go and work among these people. Be gracious with them, Lord. Direct them to the vocational work which meets their needs and shows forth Your glory through them to others. Multiply effective disciple makers among the Meskhetian Turks. In Jesus Name I ask, Amen."
